Floating restaurant for Aylesbury Basin

THERE are plans to include a floating restaurant in the redeveloped Aylesbury Basin, backed by British Waterways.

The basin is at present being redeveloped, and Aylesbury Vale District Council Corporate Director, Nigel Brooke, stated that  British Waterways were keen to have a 'narrowboat eatery' at Waterside.

The area around the basin is set to become a food hub with a restaurant also planned for a pavilion near the theatre, and the ground floor within the National Enterprise Academy headquarters will be open to the public, which is being organised by Dragon's Den star Peter Jones.
