IT IS NOT ONLY the boats in Ripon Marina that are trapped by a closed lock.
But the closure of Oxclose Lock on the Ripon Canal has effected other boats too.

Established in 1930
Ripon Motor Boat Club has been long established, in 1930—some 96 years ago.
The boat club and marina has been completely cut-off from the system Nine times since 2022, with the current closure making it ten times.
There is no intimation when the lock will be reopened.
