Still no-go for the Loco...

SO IT WAS not the electronics that caused the Loco Lift Bridge to fail after all, as was suggested.

This was the latest reason given for the failure of the lift bridge on the Huddersfield Broad Canal, Keith Gudgin reports.

Found no fault

But the electronics contractor found no fault, so the search—and saga—continues. Our now being informed that this week they are going to work on the fix.

But alas, the problem is they do not know what the fix is, as we are not told.

In the meantime the lift is being raised manually between 10am and 12 noon on Friday for boats to pass.

So, as told, the saga continues.
