No one blamed for damaged swing bridge

MAUD'S Swing Bridge on the Stainforth & Keadby Canal has been damaged.

This occurred yesterday, Wednesday, and It is now of course non operational, Keith Gudgin reports.

Assess the damage

Contractors are expected to assess the damage and discover what is required to repair the swing bridge.

This time no one is being blamed, neither boaters nor vandals, which really is a welcome change
