Adding more winter works

MORE winter works are being added to the list of those already scheduled.
The Peak Forest Canal will be closed again, this time from Monday 21st November until Thursday 8th December, Keith Gudgin reports.
The trust tells this is an extra stoppage to the winter programme.
Wash walls
The navigation will be closed to undertake trial pressure pointing to the wash walls on Tudor Embankment.
These will be the first phase of works to the embankment and the results of the trial will enable the engineers to determine the works needed to stop the leakage.
