Murder suspect's body discovered in canal.

A murder suspect wanted by police has been found dead in a disused London waterway.

The body was discovered near City Mill Lock on the Three Rivers in East London, and is understood to be that of Miguel Angel Alvarez Florentino, Keith Gudgin reports.

Hunted by police

He was being hunted by the police as the man who killed a mother and wounded her daughter.

The body was seen in the waterway near City Mill Lock, was pulled out and pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is being treated as unexpected but not suspicious.
