Coxhead awaiting 'method of repair'

ONCE again Coxhead Swing Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool Canal is out of action.

It was closed yesterday, Friday, and the damage has been assessed but it will remain out of action, Keith Gudgin reports.

Method of repair

Canal & River Trust state it was a vehicle strike but there is a delay to it being reopened as 'our teams work on a method of repair'.

Yet surely 'a method of repair' is well known after a vehicle strike, unless again they are different contractors who are not aware.
