Not joined-up thinking

ONE boater believes that there is not joined-up thinking regarding the Anderton Lift and the Weaver.

I have just received the notification that the Anderton Lift is available from 1st April, writes Stan King.

A different date

However the locks on the Weaver have to be booked at 48 hours notice until 6th April.

One would have thought that the two would have happened at the same time.
