THE Canal & River Trust produce some strange blue signs but here's one that takes some understanding.

He espied it stuck on the fence by the Marsworth Flight at the summit of the Grand Union Canal and wonders how many people understand its meaning?

We certainly don't, but as things are going with the trust these days it is getting more and more difficult to understand its many practices.
