Victor in trouble again!

OUR Victor did not do too well this time, with Trevor Mapstone putting him right by writing:

Referring to the article by Victor the lines are actually 'Springs' both bow and stern.

Reduce surging

These significantly reduce the surging forward and aft. Sea going ships use these when mooring to stay in position.

If more boaters used them when moored perhaps the shouts of “Slow down” would be reduced!

I used them extensively when moored and never experienced a pulled pin as they are so effective.
