Boat stuck in lock

A BOAT is stuck in a Leeds & Liverpool Canal lock.

It's the Leeds & Liverpool again, with the navigation closed with the boat stuck in a Wigan Flight lock, Keith Gudgin reports.

Not sunk

This occurred on Monday and as it has not sunk so it should be removed fairly quickly.

So now, most possibly it will be cleared.

There is no information what actually caused the boat to become stuck, but the navigation's shorter than normal locks may be the reason.
