Yet another Aire & Calder Stoppage

STOPPAGES on the Aire & Calder are mounting up!
It was last Monday we reported three stoppages on the navigation, and now Leeds Lock (1) in the city is out of action, Keith Gudgin reports.
Mechanical fault
This we are told is due to a mechanical fault that is stopping its operation.
Contractors are on their way to ascertain the fault so there is no intimation when it could be back in service.
