Leicester is not a good place to be

WHAT has not appeared to be realised is that Leicester has returned to the situation that prevailed at the start of the original Lockdown, writes Chris Phillips.

The advice is, and now backed by the use of the Public Health Act, that folk are requested not to visit Leicester and if you are resident in the city not to leave.

Doing the correct thing

This now being backed up by police spot checks on cars, using number plate recognition cameras. So in this instance I think that CART, for once in its miserable existence, is doing the correct thing.

It's probably worth pointing out that some of the waterway runs through areas that have a rate of infection that has contributed to 10% of the total number of infections in England in the last two weeks. It's not a good place to be.
