It's the same culvert!

HARD on the heels of the Rochdale Canal culvert failure, Canal & River Trust reports yet another.

This is the culvert between Pissmire Road Bridge (10) and Redacre Road Bridge (12) tells its Stoppage Notice, yet this is the same place as the previous failure, only instead of describing it as between locks it is described as between bridges!

The give-away

The give-away is that both notices name it as White Lee Clough Culvert!

It really does need someone in charge of its stoppage notices that actually knows about the navigation, for whoever is in charge now certainly doesn't.
