More pump problems

BOATERS with deep draughted boats are being advised not to use Camp Hill Locks on the Grand Union.

Yet again it is a pump failure, this time the one serving the locks, that has failed and so the water level is low from Camp Hill Top Lock to Knowle Hill Top Lock. Keith Gudgin reports.

Badly silted

This is an area of the Grand Union that is badly silted, our own shallow draughted boat struggling along the pound and stirring up the mud, as the picture shows.
