More misinformation

I JUST cannot understand Canal & River Trust's stoppage notice concerning Coxhead's [Swing] Bridge on the Leeds & Liverpool, writes Helen Cripps.

If the thing is non-operable that it says, how can there be assisted passage through it. It has to be one or the other for it cannot be both.

No single handers

And as to assisting single handers, whoever wrote this misinformation doesn't know the canal, for with its multitude of swing bridges, that as all can read, fail on a regular basis, single handers give it a miss.
