Wanted to clear the rubbish

ONE fella was so concerned at the amount of rubbish in the Regent's Canal in London he invented a most unusual device to collect it.
Dhruv Boruah built his own bamboo water bike including two fishing nets hooked on each side to hold plastic waste, Alan Tilbury reports.
Ends up on our plates
His idea evolved from realising that pollution starts in our own backyard, but eventually ends up on our plates, relating:
“I had to come up with a wacky campaign, with this fast life and takeaway culture we disconnect from mother nature.”
He can collect two full bags of discarded plastic after about an hour to 90 minutes 'cycling'.
