THE Avon at Bath has claimed another victim—Michael David Barnes, that an inquest revealed drowned in the river during June.
The inquest head that he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol, with the coroner recording accidental death, Alan Tilbury tells us.

Even though a great deal of fencing had been erected along the river side in Bath, it has not prevented the continuing deaths, from drunken men climbing the fence and falling into the river.
