A first for charity boat

THOUGH Droitwich Waterways Trust charity boat Pamela May, often takes people for short trips, for the first time it has completed the Worcester Ring.

It completed the 21 miles cruise from Droitwich via the Severn to Worcester then the Worcester & Birmingham Canal back to the Droitwich Canal in a weekend, Alan Tilbury tells us.

Transport was arranged for the passengers to go home on the Saturday night to sleep whilst the boat was moored in Worcester Marina, then back to the boat on the Sunday to complete the cruise.
