Another bloomer

A NEW pastime for boaters is spotting the CaRT 'Stoppage' bloomers, with them coming fast and furious at the moment.

Contributor Keith Gudgin is baffled by the one on Saturday stating 'Due to high temperatures the Rea Bridge is closed to high sided crafts until further notice', and wonder what high sided crafts are.

Not much good

It is obvious that whoever is in charge of stoppage notices these days just does not know the waterways and is not much good at giving correct information.

Rea Bridge, we remember is a swing bridge on the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal.
