Ban duckmarines from the water

It makes you wonder how they tested those amphibious duckmarines that keep sinking, writes Keith Gudgin

It makes no difference as far as I can see, two down or twice for same vessel in such a short time means to me there is a problem, pull the safety/sea worthy certificates until absolutely proven to be safe for passengers and crew. Or better still just ban them, they are after all just a novelty for trips around the dock area and have no practical purpose.

Lose money

Or am I just being too common sensical and not thinking about the amount of money they would lose and/or have to pay out? On that point—who is responsible for them—who runs them?

Keep-on like this and someone will get killed, stands to reason that you can't keep chucking boat loads of people into the water and expect to get them all out okay every time.
