THE Television presenter, Julia Bradbury, will officially open this year's Crick Boat Show at Crick Marina on the Leicester Section of the Grand Union Canal.

The show, which takes place on the 25th to 27th May, is organised by Waterways World in partnership with Canal & River Trust and Crick Marina.

Will give a talk

As well as officially opening the show, Julia Bradbury, presenter of Canal Walks, Countryfile, Watchdog, Railway Walks, Wainwright Walks and many others, will give a talk at the show about how her walking life started, and remarks:

"I'm delighted to be opening the Crick Boat Show, where the canal world converges in the Northamptonshire countryside to celebrate our wonderful network of inland waterways and provide a great day out for all the family. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring some of Britain's canals for my Canal Walks series, including the Kennet & Avon, Worcester & Birmingham and Llangollen canals."
