So it seems a boater on boater war is developing and it appears a form of apartheid is either being suggested or implemented by the self-righteous.

So what to look forward to in 2013! Are we to read of pubs and shops forced by mooring restrictions into only serving holiday boaters, or live-aboard continuous cruiser types being segregated and deployed in traveller only mooring sites away from elite services and facilities or being forced from the canals altogether?

Boats being torched or set adrift because, according to somebody's ill-conceived prejudices, they are moored in the 'wrong' place or for 'too long'?

Get a grip people. A very dangerous situation is developing. Perhaps the answer is to make every boater without a home mooring paint their boat black?
