Towpath assault

POLICE are searching for the man who assaulted an 18 years old girl on the Forth and Clyde Canal towpath.

The girl was walking along the towpath between locks 14 and 15 at Camelon when she was attacked by a man wearing a black puffa-style coat, speaking with a local accent, Alan Tilbury tells us.

Detective Inspector David Mitchell explained:

"We are seeking the support of members of the local community to help us with our enquiries and are confident that they will have valuable information which will assist us in identifying the person responsible."
