Body in 'safe' canal

WITH drunks falling into the 'Rochdale Nine' at Canal Street in Manchester, a fence was erected on the top of the existing wall, but a man's body has been discovered in the waterway.

His identity is not known, and the police are trying to identify the body which was found in the canal on Saturday afternoon, and have launched an investigation to both establish the man's identity and the reason for his death, Alan Tilbury tells us.

Canal Street is famous for its homosexual bars, and there were so many 'accidents' of men falling or jumping into the canal, that a fence was installed, which caused problems to boaters wanting to reach the locks on foot.
