Child found on towpath

AN EIGHT years old child caused a furore in Banbury when he went missing from home earlier this week, causing a search to be mounted.

Even the  Thames Valley Police helicopter was called out, and it was its crew that spotted him walking along The Oxford Canal towpath miles from home.

It was a quick recovery however, and a great relief for his parents, as the child had only been reported missing just over an hour.
