Arrest over body parts

A MAN has been arrested over the killing of the woman whose body parts were found in the Regent's Canal way back in 2001.

The 53 years old man was also arrested over the murder of another woman whose body parts were found in Rotterdam's Westersingle Canal.

The body of Paula Fields, with her head, hands and feet missing, was found in the Regent's Canal, with both now officially linked.

In six bags

It was in February 2001, that an angler found the dismembered body of Paula Fields, 33, in six weighted bags, with the police concluding that her body had been in the water for some months. It was reported in narrowboatworld!

A post-mortem examination failed to determine the cause of her death.

The man, was arrested this week in London.
