IT WAS LOW LANE Swing Bridge that caused the latest stoppage on the New Junction Canal.
This was on Tuesday, Keith Gudgin reports.
It was repaired very quickly, yesterday, Wednesday, with the navigation reopened.
Barrier fault
A barrier fault was the reason for the stoppage, with the trust's team getting it in working in one day.
There has been a number of stoppages on this navigation with its bridges, that was one of the latest canals to be built.
