Flooding closes Trent lock

THE recent flooding has closed a Trent lock.

Nether Lock on the Trent is currently out of action as the flooding has knocked-out the electrics.

Cannot be operated

Canal & River Trust tells the flooding caused an issue with the electrics and so it cannot be operated.

It intends to carry out the required repairs, but has no intimation when this will be achieved as no information at present.
