Another man found dead on Chester towpath

THERE as been another death on the Shropshire Union Canal towpath in Chester.

The body of a man was discoverd by the city walls on Wednesday, the police have confirmed.

Second time a body found

This is the second time a body has been found on the canal towpath in the city within five months, the previous time it being near the Phoenix Tower.

In both cases the deaths were not under suspicious circumstances.

Before this a man in a wheelchair was attacked on the Chester towpath, but being an ex serviceman, he struck-out at his assailant, who then ran off.
