Leaking gates close Grand Union locks

LEAKING gates on Stockton Locks on the Grand Union will close the flight for two weeks this month.

The required work to stop the gates on locks 10 and 11 leaking will take from Monday 6th March at 7am until Friday 17th March at 5pm, Keith Gudgin reports.

Contractors

Obviously contractors are involved that take multiples of full week to complete such work.

The gates on the two locks are leaking so badly that boaters are having problems getting the top gates to open.
