Paddington Arm closed for bridge artwork

THE Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal is to be closed for artwork on a temporary conveyor bridge over the waterway.

The bridge that will contain the artwork will be near the Railway Bridge (8C) at Willesden, Keith Gudgin reports.

Request of HR2

The stoppage is to enable the completion of the artwork installation at the request of HR2 that requires the temporary conveyor bridge to move debris, requiring to shield this from the public's view by artwork.

This will result in the in the navigation being closed for 12 days from Monday 6th March at 2pm until Friday 17th March at 7am.
