Most leaking lock—5

AS I UNDERSTAND I'm the longest contributor to your pages I feel I should offer my leaking lock, writes James Henry.

This was when we were climbing up the Watford Flight, but before this had noticed all the water going over the overflow into the stream on the left at the bottom of the flight.

Was the worst

I took a number of photographs and of the seven locks all but one were leaking to one degree or another, though this one in the photograph I thought was the worst.

One lock looked fairly new and had no leak at all, that I expect as one out of seven is not bad in this day and age.
