All change for Great Canal Journeys

NO LONGER will Prunella Scales and husband Timothy West be presenting the television show Great Canal Journeys.
Alzheimer's has taken its toll on Prunella so the pair have decided not to undertake further episodes of the Channel 4 series that showed them navigating the canals, rivers and lakes of the world.
'Enjoy the countryside and the pubs'
They are being replaced by Celebrity Gogglebox stars Gyles Brandreth and Sheila Hancock, with the message from Prunella and Timothy to 'enjoy the countryside and the pubs'.
They appeared in more than 30 episodes of the programme with Prunella filming her last episode in October. It was revealed in 2013 that she was struggling with her memory and later that she had Alzheimer's.
