Dickinson Quay restaurant for sale

THE popular vegetarian restaurant at Dickinson Quay in Hemel Hempstead is for sale.

The restaurant that was opened by Robert Giambrone when the quay was created on the site of the old Dickinson Paper Mill on the Grand Union Canal is being offered at £575,000, as Robert has decided to retire, Alan Tilbury reports.

Named Woody's, it was opened in 2000, has been run by its owner ever since, building up an extensive clientele, receiving the  Certificate of Excellence from 2015-2018 from TripAdvisor.

The restaurant seats 70 people and features an open plan kitchen allowing diners to see their food being prepared. 

Popular with boaters

There is also an outside seating area for up to 50 giving a view of the marina and canal and has proved popular with boaters.
