John Bunyan boat cruises to resume
THE John Bunyan boat cruises on the River Great Ouse are to resume in April.
Not only is this a good way to cruise the river in Bedford, but it is run by volunteers and raises funds toward expanding and protecting the river locally.
All types of cruises
All types of cruises are offered including afternoon tea, fish & chip suppers, jazz evenings, Folk on the Boat, motown, northern soul and more.
Private charters are available for any event of your choice, with bookings often being taken from local businesses, schools and community groups for birthdays, wedding/anniversary events, corporate days out, educational trips and many more!
Volunteers
The John Bunyan Community Boat is operated and maintained by volunteers, who are always on the look-out for talented individuals to join the team. Previous experience is not needed, we are told, just a 'can do' attitude, adding:
"So whether you wish to book a cruise, charter or join our team we look forward to welcoming you aboard!"
The public cruises will resume in April 2019, and tickets are on sale now. Gift Vouchers are available to purchase all year around as a gift. Charter hire will also resume running from April 2019.
