REGARDING the weight restriction on a bridge at Leighton Buzzard, writes Bill Ridgeway.
Of course it is much more convenient for Canal & River Trust to impose a permanent weight limit than to actually get on and repair the damage.
Inverse proportion
This suggests a new Rule of Operation. The amount of inconvenience to one party is in inverse proportion to the amount of inconvenience to the other party.
