This will take place on Wednesday, 13th March at 7.30pm, with tickets available from the Chesterfield Visitor Information Centre or the Chesterfield Theatre website.

Chesterfield CanalIllustrated journey

John’s presentation will feature an illustrated journey along the beautiful and historic Chesterfield Canal. On the way we will discover its history, the 12 miles of restoration already completed and what work is still required to once again link Chesterfield with the Trent.

We will also learn about the varied activities of the Chesterfield Canal Trust and its more than 1,800 members.
