Another body discovered in the Weaver

THE second body this year has been discovered in the Weaver.

The police were called out on Sunday when a body was seen floating in the river, and was dragged from the water, Alan Tilbury reports.

Local man

This was near Baron's Quay, with formal identification of the body having taken place and shown to be a local man aged 56, though his name has not been released.

The police state that there are no suspicious circumstances with no third party involvement.
