The answer to speeding towpath cyclists

The Times newspaper reports that the menace of speeding cyclists has now reached Bournemouth seafront, writes Roger Fox.
There have been reports of a 72 years old woman being badly hurt by a cyclist and a five years old was left with cuts and bruises after a collision.
Detect their speed
The local council and the Bournemouth Beach Hut Association are taking very active steps to attempt to control the problem and are installing digital warning signs to detect their speed and to shame them into slowing down on the path alongside the beach.
Bournemouth has seven miles of problem but the canals have 2,000 miles! Perhaps the signs might be helpful in the real speeding hot spots?
