Easter cruises on the Chesterfield Canal

THE Chesterfield Canal Trust will be running lots of special cruises for Easter at Hollingwood Hub, Chesterfield and Worksop.

There will be trips on Madeline from Hollingwood Hub (S43 2PF) on Saturday 31st March accompanied by our Easter Bunny. Every child will receive an Easter Egg, with a drink and a hot-cross bun for adults. Picture Trail. All tickets cost £7. Booking essential, ring 01629 533020.

There will be Easter cruises on John Varley from Tapton Lock in Chesterfield on Saturday 31st March and Sunday 1st April,(S41 7JB). Easter Eggs, crafts and activities for children, drinks and hot-cross buns for adults. All tickets cost £7. Book in advance by ringing 01629 533020, or just turn up and pay on the day.

Experience restored section

Those first two trips are on the unconnected part of the Chesterfield Canal giving an opportunity for boaters to experience the restored section of the waterway.

Finally there will be trips on Hugh Henshall from the Lock Keeper pub in Worksop (S80 1TJ) on Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd April, accompanied by our Easter Bunny.
