Canal-side Graffiti keeps appearing

RESIDENTS living by the Kennet & Avon Canal in Bath are upset by the graffiti that keeps appearing on a wall by the canal towpath.

The long pale coloured wall along Sydney Gardens it seems is too much for the graffiti 'artists' for as quickly their efforts are removed, more appears, which is upsetting residents, Alan Tilbury reports.

The latest is a huge head with tiny legs in black spray paint the height of the wall by the waterway, pictured by R. Salmon.

This is the latest of many drawing on the wall, which Bath and North East Somerset Council remove after many complaints, at the same time requesting residents to report any such graffiti activity, telling them to report any such activity to the police.

The nearby short tunnel under a road has its walls plastered with graffiti, but as the local residents cannot see it, there are few complaints, only about the continuing graffiti on the wall that is on view.
