Email: What a surprise!

I find the investigative powers of the police amazing, they have worked out that there is ‘a loophole in the law that allows people to live on canal boats without being on the electoral register'.

Well, stripe me what a surprise Sherlock! One glance at this website would tell you that continuous cruisers have no incentive to register for a vote, in return for a council tax bill! Incidentally it is council tax that pays for the police force.

In true police tradition I'm sure we'll now see a fleet of hireboats rented and about 20 coppers despatched, on expenses, to search for paedos on the canal. Canal-side pubs can look forward to an increase in trade! A judge will then review the investigation and decide it will not be published without the police being able to black out certain items. Sound familiar?
