Three for price of two moorings

BOATERS who prefer to moor in marinas for the facilities and explore the area whilst cruising are being offered three nights moorings at a marina for the price of two.

Wigrams Turn Marina on the junction with the Grand Union and Oxford canals is offering the 'three for two' until the end of June, with a spokesman for the marina suggesting that boaters planning to visit Wigrams and stay on their boats during the Crick Boat Show in May can benefit in two ways by booking ahead. Firstly by securing a berth and also by gaining an extra night at no cost.

Facilities

On-site facilities include a small shop, housekeeping and laundry, convenient parking, fuel and pump-out, boat cleaning and engineering services in addition to some limited camping facilities and even an allotted dog walking area.

The nearest towns are Leamington Spa 10 miles, Daventry 17 miles, Rugby 11 miles, Coventry 16 miles, Banbury 17 miles, plus a good network of motorways with easy access to the M40, M1 and M6.
