More BWML diesel

BWML (British Waterways Marinas Ltd) is installing diesel pumps at both its Galgate Marina, near Lancaster and Ripon Racecourse Marina.

Groundworks have begun at both marinas to install the pump and tank, so that red diesel will be available, with the service at Galgate being by Auto Vend, meaning boaters can serve themselves at any time. It will be assisted service at Ripon.

Vital factor

Head of Retail, Rod Grant, commented:

"‘Easy access to diesel is a vital factor in ensuring our customers can fully enjoy the waterway experience. Feedback indicated that the many boaters who use our facilities regarded investment in diesel pumps as a priority, and I am delighted to report that we have been able to do so."

This will of course save boaters having to go elsewhere for such fuel.
