A TRIP boat with over 100 people on board cruising the Thames in London collided with a barge towing rubbish, yesterday (Thursday) both coming to a halt.

A fleet of ambulances were called, with people suffering injuries, but no one was taken to hospital and no one was thrown overboard by the collision Alan Tilbury tells us.

Not sinking

The people on the trip boat were evacuated to shore, though neither boat was in danger of sinking.

It happened by the OXO Tower near Blackfriars Bridge, with the trip boat, Millennium Time one of a fleet operated by City Cruises.
