Cavalcade Festival

ONE of the longest running waterway Festivals is the Canalway Cavalcade held at Little Venice on the Paddington Arm of the Grand Union Canal.

It is a narrowboat festival, organised by the Inland Waterways Association, and has been held at Little Venice every year on the May Bank Holiday since 1983, and this year it runs from Saturday 3rd to Monday 5th May from 10am until early evening each day.

Lots of activities

Hannah Ranken tells us it is a beautiful festival with lots of activities for the family, and children just love the games and stalls that are held throughout the weekend. It brings a lot of attention into the local area from locals to tourists.

It is all free and there is live music, food stalls, boat competitions, a teddy bears picnic and much, much more!
