Not to sensible

I do not of course know the reason for first timers to take to the waterways with a 70ft boat but it doesn't seem too sensible, as they are the devil to keep clear of cills and also to manœuvre in wind.

I once helped on a 70 footer and it was a nightmare, as all too often we were inches off the cill and occasionally on it.
