Of course there is little interest in Canal & River Trust Council elections—it is surely seen as one big con.

Did a single boater get any joy out of anything from the supposed four boating representatives?

I twice emailed who I thought was my representative, but did not even get the courtesy of a reply, in fact of all the other boaters I have spoken to I have not met one who had any benefit from those representatives whatsoever, so I have to ask, what is the point?

We all know that the IWA hijacked the elections last time, and secured all the seats, but it did them a great deal of harm and lost a lost of members, me being one of them.  Yet I see one of them has still put himself forward, though Allan Richards tells us the IWA had a gentleman's agreement not to put its members forward this time.  What does that say about him?

If these so-called representatives don't actually do anything, what is the point, is what I have to ask again.
