Email: Electing members

I read with interest the comment that the IWA should relinquish the seats of its members who were elected to the [CaRT] council.

Does this mean that If you are a member of any group.eg NABO, RBOA or IWA, that this bars you from being on the council. A difficult decision this one.

I'm not a member of the IWA, and some of the stories I've seen published on narrowboatworld don't endear me to it, but this is the only source of information I've had so my opinion could be biased.

It's in the hands of us boaters, we voted, and if you accept democracy you accept the result whether you like it or not. Anarchy anyone?
